Bjorn-Peter Lloyd
 |
Peter is a seasoned professional musician specialising in the guitar, particularly fond of hamming it up as Bjorn in many ABBA tribute bands. He taught himself how to play the guitar, starting at the age of 8. He is a real prodigy and boy does it show in his spectacular playing. His career includes touring with the other Eurovision famed pop group Bucks Fizz, also The Platters, Cannon and Ball and Bobby Davro. Peter Set up and developed his own Abba tribute band Abba 2, but after 4 years of running this band he got itchy feet and decided to spread his wings and tour around Europe with Louise, where they worked with other Abba tributes. Peter took with him his fabulous rock style of playing and ideas of perfecting the ABBA show. It was at this time Peter worked with Bjorn Again and Abba Mania as well as various other Abba tributes, too numerous to mention. After working all over Europe, Peter decided to return to his native Wales to establish a brand new supergroup, the ABBA tribute band “Bjorn to Rock” having discovered the missing ingredient from all other tributes, the “Rock” element. Hear his superb playing on our "Sound Bytes" page. |

She originally started her tribute life playing the role of Frida but then discovered she had a superb vocal range and could play the Agnetha role with ease. Since She is now married to Peter, she loves nothing more than being able to don the blonde wig and have a good old flirt with her stage and real life huband. Just like the real ABBA.

Benny-Ray James
 |
Ray is a multi talented musician, being able to play the keyboards, Acoustic guitar, mandolin, ukulele and bass guitar. You name it he can play it. We even have to hide the cutlery. He started playing professionally at the age of fifteen and has spent many years establishing himself as a well respected and much sought after musician. He has also been playing various instruments for the well known blues band Panic Station for the last fifteen years. He has also played with Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins and Bjorn Again. Not only can Ray play the keyboard superbly with his Benny-like style, but he also plays the mandolin and acoustic guitar for various Abba songs during the set, giving even more authenticity and uniqueness to our Bjorn to Rock tribute band.
Ray is by far, the best "Benny" out there. His sheer energy alone, in his performance, puts him well above the rest, not to mention his fantastic musicianship. He is the perfect addition to our band also bringing with him a dry wit and great sense of humour. |
